Background - Gold Mountain Coffee Growers is a direct trade social enterprise that connects farmers of high-cupping specialty coffee with coffee roasters. We have our own coffee farm (Finca Idealista) in Nicaragua and are at origin, all the time. We export and import ourselves, shipping to roasteries across the world from our North American warehouse.
Quality - We treat our own farm and partner producers’ farms like fine wine vineyards because to maintain a thriving social enterprise, everything depends on cup quality. That is why we have a ripeness team, armed with refractometers and special ripeness wristbands, literally supervising pickers’ baskets. The result is excellent-cupping coffee.
Processing - We remove imperfections on raised drying beds, on conveyor belts with 80 people during dry processing, through mechanical sorting, and with special UV lights. We and partner farmers produce natural, honey process, and washed coffees, maintaining 100% traceability. We offer nanolots and microlots to whole containers.
